
An emergency occurred at the base of the English football club Chelsea. According to The Sun, all players and staff were urgently evacuated due to the threat of a chlorine release.
The alarm was triggered in the swimming pool located at the Cobham base, and everyone in the building was evacuated. Fire and rescue service representatives from Surrey County arrived to investigate the incident.
The arriving firefighters determined the alarm was false, after which players and staff were allowed back inside to retrieve their personal belongings. The ninth round of the English Premier League begins on October 25, where Chelsea will face newly promoted Sunderland, with the match scheduled to start at 17:00 GMT+3.
