With this victory, the English club became the first winner of the Club World Cup in its revamped format.
According to The Athletic, Chelsea have earned $114.6 million from the tournament, which includes $29 million for participation and $86.5 million in prize money.
Other clubs that made the list of the tournament's top earners include PSG ($106.9 million), Real Madrid ($82.5 million), Fluminense ($60.8 million), Bayern Munich ($58.2 million), Borussia Dortmund ($52.3 million), Manchester City ($51.7 million), Palmeiras ($39.8 million), Inter Milan ($36.8 million), and Al Hilal ($34.2 million).
Oakland City from New Zealand earned the least, with $4.6 million.
