Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo harshly criticized the club's management and head coach Erik ten Hag.

Cristiano Ronaldo, the Sun
I have no respect for ten Hag. MU tried to make me leave. Not just the coach, but a few other people at the club. I felt betrayed. I understood that people didn't want me at MU. Not just this year, but last season too. They made a scapegoat out of me.

The 37-year-old Portuguese returned to Manchester United in the summer of 2021. He has taken part in ten EPL games this season, scoring one goal.
