Cristiano Ronaldo Pushes Away Fan Who Tried to Take Selfie in Yerevan

Cristiano Ronaldo, forward for Saudi Pro League club Al‑Nassr and captain of Portugal, was involved in an awkward incident ahead of his country’s World Cup 2026 qualifier in Armenia.

Video shows a fan rushing up to the 40‑year‑old veteran at a hotel in Yerevan to take a selfie. Ronaldo pushed the fan away, and hotel security intervened to keep other fans from approaching.

Portugal, coached by Roberto Martinez, will play Armenia on September 6 in the first round of European qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. The match takes place at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium in Yerevan and kicks off at 19:00 GMT+3.
