Crystal Palace Plan to Appeal UEFA's Decision to Exclude Them from Europa League

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has announced to Sky Sports that the club intends to appeal its exclusion from the Europa League.

Steve Parish
We're certainly devastated. Somebody said to me it's like winning the lottery, going to the counter and you don't get the prize.

He emphasized that it is absurd for a club that earned its place in the tournament to be excluded due to a minor technical error. Parish confirmed that the club will contest this decision.

On July 11, UEFA announced that Crystal Palace would not participate in the 2025/26 Europa League season because the club is owned by John Textor, who also owns Lyon.

Previously, it was reported that politician Robert Wood Johnson IV has become the new owner of Crystal Palace.
