Cubarsi Becomes Second-Youngest Barcelona Player to Reach 100 Appearances

18-year-old Barcelona defender Pau Cubarsi has made club history by becoming the second-youngest footballer to reach the 100-game milestone for the Blaugrana.

The landmark occasion took place during the Copa del Rey Round of 64 match against Guadalajara, which ended in a 2-0 victory. Cubarsi played his 100th match at the age of 18 years and 329 days. The only player to reach this milestone earlier is forward Lamine Yamal, who played his 100th match at the age of 17 years and 293 days.

The game against Guadalajara on December 16 was Cubarsí's 125th appearance for Barcelona.

Notably, the current Catalan squad features four of the five youngest players to reach 100 matches for the club: Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsi, as well as Gavi (19 years and 84 days) and Pedri (20 years and 66 days).
