Dani Alves May Return to Football Within Next Six Months

Former Brazilian international Dani Alves wants to acquire São João de Ver, a club in the Portuguese third division, according to Globo.

The source also notes that the Brazilian is considering a return to professional football within the next six months. The initial proposal suggests that Alves would simultaneously play and perform administrative and sporting management roles. The Brazilian is looking at making his debut and comeback as early as next season.

Throughout his career, Alves featured for Barcelona, Juventus, and PSG. He won La Liga, Ligue 1, and Serie A multiple times. With the Brazilian national team, he won gold at the Copa America, the Confederations Cup, and the 2020 Olympics.

The last club in the 42-year-old's career was the Mexican side UNAM Pumas, where he played from 2022 to 2023.
