According to journalist Gaston Edul on social media, the Finalissima, featuring 2024 UEFA European Championship winner Spain and 2024 Copa America champion Argentina, is scheduled for March 2026.
The report states that this single-match encounter will take place sometime between March 17 and March 25. The exact date will be announced later, and the venue for the match has yet to be determined.
Earlier, it was reported that hosting the Finalissima in 2025 would be impossible due to a packed schedule.
This will be only the second edition of the tournament in history. The inaugural champion of the Finalissima was Argentina, who convincingly defeated Italy 3-0 in the final match.
