De Bruyne Surpasses Hazard to Become Belgium’s Second-Highest Scorer

Napoli midfielder Kevin De Bruyne moved up to second place on Belgium’s all-time scoring list.

In a 2026 World Cup qualifier against Kazakhstan, which Belgium won 6-0, De Bruyne scored twice, netting his 33rd and 34th goals for the Red Devils.

With those goals, Kevin De Bruyne surpassed retired Eden Hazard, who previously held second place with 33 goals for the national team.

De Bruyne has represented Belgium since 2010.

Belgium’s all-time top scorer remains Romelu Lukaku with 89 goals.
