Barcelona’s sporting director Deco revealed to Mundo Deportivo that the club tried to sign Luis Diaz in summer 2025. The Colombian winger transferred from Liverpool to Bayern Munich in late July.
Deco described the signing process as complicated, which ultimately prevented the transfer from going through.

Diaz has played eight matches for Bayern across all competitions this season, scoring four goals and providing three assists. Transfermarkt estimates him at €70 million.
