According to Diario AS, Real Madrid are obligated to pay Turkish Süper Lig club Fenerbahçe an additional bonus for the transfer of Turkish national team midfielder Arda Güler.
Following Matchday 11 of La Liga, in which los Blancos thrashed Valencia 4-0, the 20-year-old attacking midfielder reached the milestone of 75 official appearances for Real Madrid. As a result, the Spanish club’s management must now pay Fenerbahçe an extra €2 millionб since it was the Turkish side from which Güler originally transferred to Spain.
Nicknamed the “Turkish Messi,” Güler has been playing for Real Madrid since July 2023 under a contract valid until the end of June 2029. In the current 2025--26 season, the Turkish international has played 11 La Liga matches, scoring three goals and providing five assists, as well as appearing in three UEFA Champions League matches (with one assist). Transfermarkt currently estimates Güler at €60 million.
