According to Diario Sport, Brazilian striker Neymar of Santos hoped for a high-profile move that would increase his chances of making Carlo Ancelotti’s national team for the 2026 World Cup.
However, the source says European clubs have shown no interest in the 32-year-old player. Because of this, Neymar is considering two career paths: extending his contract with Santos or transferring to MLS, where he could play alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez at Inter Miami.
Neymar’s last game was on September 14 before he got injured and entered rehabilitation. Since his return, he has played 21 matches for the club, scoring six goals and providing three assists.
