Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic, winner of 24 Grand Slam titles, has called Real Madrid's Croatian midfielder Luka Modric a legend.
Modric, 39, announced Thursday that he will leave the Madrid club after the 2025 Club World Cup.

During his time playing for Real Madrid, Modric won the Champions League six times, became Spanish champion four times, won the domestic cup twice, won the Spanish and UEFA Super Cup five times each, and won the club World Cup five times. He became a silver and bronze medalist of the World Cup in the Croatian national team.
