Gianni Infantino, the head of FIFA, announced that U.S. President Donald Trump will be attending the 2025 Club World Cup final between Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
The decisive match is set to take place at MetLife Stadium in New York on Sunday, July 13. The kickoff is scheduled for 22:00 GMT+3.
Gianni Infantino, quoted by journalist Ben Jacobs on his social media
President Trump will be at the final. He loves soccer — in his first term as president, there was a soccer goal in the White House garden. President Trump is the president of the U.S., one of the host countries for the (2026) World Cup, and he immediately embraced the Club World Cup as well.
FIFA legends Ronaldo, Kaka, Alessandro Del Piero, Roberto Baggio, Esteban Cambiasso and Hristo Stoichkov also attended the press conference.
