Sporting finished in first place in the Portuguese league. The Lisbon club also won the domestic cup. Al-Ahli of Saudi Arabia won the Asian Champions League. In the decisive match, the club from Jeddah defeated Japan's Kawasaki Frontale 2-0.
Last year, Real Madrid was named the Best Club in the World.
