Catalan club Barcelona is showing strong interest in Norwegian striker Erling Haaland of Manchester City, reports El Nacional.
Club president Joan Laporta aims to strengthen the team and is considering purchasing the 24-year-old forward.
The transfer, valued at around €125 million, would likely require selling several players. This primarily concerns Ronald Araujo. Dani Olmo and Fermin Lopez might also be put up for sale.
Haaland has been with City since summer 2022, playing 154 matches, scoring 135 goals, and providing 22 assists. His contract runs until summer 2034. Transfermarkt estimates him at €180 million.
Earlier reports also linked Barcelona with Benfica defender Gonçalo Oliveira.
