The sports outlet ESPN published a ranking of the 30 best football coaches in Europe. When compiling the list, the authors considered coaching intuition, style of play, managerial skills, interaction with players and the media, career achievements, and the ability to surprise and propose innovative solutions.
Each coach was rated on a 100-point scale. The site excluded specialists who had not managed clubs for more than a year (for example, Jürgen Klopp) and those who currently coach national teams (Carlo Ancelotti, Luis de la Fuente, Didier Deschamps and others).
Topping the ranking was Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique, who received a score of 86 out of 100. Second place went to Arne Slot of Liverpool, and third place to Manchester City’s Josep Guardiola.
