Ex-Liverpool Coach Rodgers Takes Charge of Al Qadsiah

Saudi Arabian football club Al Qadsiah announced the signing of a contract with Brendan Rodgers, who will take over as head coach. Rodgers resigned from his position as the manager of Scotland's Celtic at the end of October 2025.

The 52-year-old specialist from Northern Ireland also has experience coaching English clubs Leicester and Liverpool. Previously, Al Qadsiah decided to dismiss head coach Mшchel. The 62-year-old Spanish specialist had managed the team since October 2023.

In the current season of the Saudi Arabian Premier League, Al Qadsiah has earned 17 points in nine games and is in fifth place in the league table.
