According to columnist and insider Fabrizio Romano, West Ham United and Germany striker Niclas Füllkrug is set to join Serie A side AC Milan.
According to the source, the 32-year-old Hammers forward has already signed a contract with the Rossoneri and will wear the number 9 shirt. Romano noted that the deal is a loan until the end of the season with an option to buy for €13–14 million. The insider had previously reported that the parties were close to an agreement on December 23.
Füllkrug joined the Irons in August 2024, moving from Borussia Dortmund. The German's contract runs until the end of June 2028. In the 2025-2026 season, the striker has appeared in eight Premier League matches but failed to record any goals or assists. Transfermarkt values the center-forward at €8 million.
