Fenerbahce Part Ways With Jose Mourinho

Turkish club Fenerbahçe announced it has terminated the contract of head coach José Mourinho. The decision came after the club failed to reach the group stage of the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League.

The club’s press office thanked Mourinho for his contribution to the team’s development and wished him success in his future career.

On Wednesday, August 27, Fenerbahçe lost to Benfica in the Champions League playoff and were eliminated from the competition.

Mourinho previously managed Real Madrid, Chelsea, Inter, Tottenham and Roma.
