The Club World Cup is taking place in 11 U.S. cities from June 14 to July 13, 2025. The World Cup will follow in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada from June 11 to July 19, 2026.
On Sunday, June 29, the first pair of quarter-finalists for the Club World Cup was determined, with Chelsea scheduled to compete against the Brazilian team Palmeiras.
Previously, former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp expressed his dissatisfaction with FIFA regarding the format of the Club World Cup, labeling the tournament as the worst idea in football.
