FIFA has lifted the player registration ban previously imposed on Al-Nassr, according to insider Fabrizio Romano.
The sanctions were placed on the Saudi side on December 20 due to outstanding debts owed to Manchester City following the 2023 transfer of defender Aymeric Laporte. The club was required to pay €9 million by August 31. Al-Nassr have now resolved the matter, allowing them to register new players again.
After nine rounds of the current Saudi Pro League season, Al-Nassr sit in first place with 27 points. Their next match is at home against Al-Okhdood on December 27.
