FIFA Struggles to Sell Tickets for Club World Cup Opening Match

According to The Athletic, FIFA has had difficulty selling all the tickets for the opening match of the Club World Cup, where Al Ahly of Egypt and American Inter Miami will meet.

It is reported that the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, with a capacity of 65,000 seats, has so far sold only 20,000 tickets. To remedy the situation, FIFA has made an agreement with Miami-Dade College, which has 100,000 students. Each student who purchases a ticket will receive four tickets for free. The special price for them will be 3.5 euros.

The Club World Cup will take place in the United States from June 14 to July 13, 2025. Thirty-two teams from every continent will take part in the tournament, which will be divided into eight groups. The teams that take the first two places in each group will advance to the round of 16.
