The management of Italian club Fiorentina has requested a change of venue for their Conference League qualifying match due to renovations at the Artemio Franchi Stadium, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
According to the source, the Italians are hoping to host the match at the Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia. The Conference League matches are scheduled for August 21 and 28. Earlier, Serie A allowed Fiorentina to play two home matches at the beginning of the new season away from their home ground.
In the previous season, the Italians reached the semi-finals of the Conference League but were defeated by Real Betis.
