Barcelona head coach Hans-Dieter Flick said that his time at the Catalan club has made him more emotional compared to when he was managing Bayern Munich.
Previously, the German coach was sent off at the end of the ninth round La Liga match against Girona (2-1) for protesting the referee’s decisions.
Hans-Dieter Flick said during a press-conference
I am not more nervous, maybe my emotions are not the same as before. When I was coaching Bayern Munich, there were images of us winning 8-2 against Barcelona, and I never smiled with eight goals. Now I have more emotions. This club has completely changed me. I love this club, I love Barcelona, I love the people here, and I give my all for this club.
As a result, Hans-Dieter Flick will miss the tenth round La Liga match against Madrid’s Real on October 26.
Flick took over Barcelona at the end of May 2024. In his first season as head coach of the Catalan club, he won the league, the Cup, and the Spanish Super Cup.
