Damian Čech, the son of legendary goalkeeper Petr Čech, who played for Chelsea, Arsenal, and the Czech national team, has signed with English club Fulham.
The 16-year-old goalkeeper announced the news on his social media page. The contract with Fulham runs until 2027.
This marks Damian Čech's first professional contract. His father, 43-year-old Petr Čech, announced his retirement from professional football in the summer of 2019. During his career at Chelsea, he won the Premier League four times and claimed titles in both the Champions League and the Europa League. Earlier this year, the son of another famed Czech goalkeeper, Antonín Kinský, signed with Tottenham.
