Former England midfielder and captain Paul Ince has been caught driving under the influence. He has been banned from driving for 12 months, as reported by Sky Sports.
According to the source, Ince crashed into a barrier on Chester High Road in Neston at the end of June. The 57-year-old was questioned by police and later released on bail. He was subsequently fined £7,085.
Ince was the first black captain of the England national team, having made 53 appearances and scored two goals. At the club level, he played for West Ham, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Italian club Inter. Since 2006, he has worked as a coach, with his last position being at Reading, where the team finished 22nd in the Championship in the 2022/2023 season, failing to win any matches under his management.
