According to the source, the 57-year-old German specialist accepted the team's offer on May 18. It is noted that he will start work in the coming summer.
Jurgen Klopp's last club as head coach was Liverpool, which he led from 2015 to 2024. On January 1, 2025, the German started his tenure as global head at Red Bull.
At the moment Roma are managed by 73-year-old Claudio Ranieri, who will leave his position at the end of the current season.
Note that Roma are in fifth place of Serie A standings with 66 points with one matchday remaining before the end of the season.
