Former Roma Player De Rossi Appointed Head Coach of Genoa

Former Italian midfielder Daniele De Rossi, long associated with AS Roma, has been named head coach of Genoa. The announcement was made on the club’s official website.

Genoa CFC announces that Daniele De Rossi has been appointed first team coach. The new coach has already met with the players and will lead the afternoon training session at the Signorini sports center.

De Rossi’s most recent coaching role was also with AS Roma. Currently, Genoa sit 18th in the 2025-26 Serie A standings, having collected six points from ten matches. Napoli lead the league with 22 points.
