France Football has published the list of contenders for the title of best football team of 2025. The nominees are Paris Saint-Germain, Botafogo, Barcelona, Chelsea and Liverpool.
In the 2024/25 season PSG won the Champions League, Ligue 1, the French Cup and the French Super Cup. Botafogo won the Copa Libertadores and the Brazilian championship. Barcelona claimed La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup. Liverpool won the English Premier League. Chelsea lifted the Europa Conference League and the Club World Cup.
The winner will be decided in October.
