Football website GOAL published a ranking of the main contenders for the 2025 Ballon d’Or. Their favorite for the award is Paris Saint-Germain and France forward Ousmane Dembélé.
The top-10 contenders also include Lamine Yamal (Barcelona, Spain), Vitinha (PSG, Portugal), Raphinha (Barcelona, Brazil), Mohamed Salah (Liverpool, Egypt), Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid, France), Achraf Hakimi (PSG, Morocco), Désiré Doué (PSG, France), Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (PSG, Georgia) and Nuno Mendes (PSG, Portugal).
On Thursday, August 7, France Football published the names of 30 nominees for the award based on the 2024/25 season. The Ballon d’Or ceremony will be held in Paris on September 22.
