
Manchester City striker Erling Haaland will play for the Norway national team with the name Braut Haaland on his shirt. Manchester Evening News reports he decided to add his mother’s surname, Braut.
At his English club he will keep the current jersey name Haaland. He could make his debut in the new shirt on September 9 in a World Cup qualifier against Moldova.
Haaland has played 43 games for Norway, scoring 42 goals and providing four assists. The 25-year-old has been at Manchester City since 2022, winning the English league twice and the UEFA Champions League.
