After the 26th round Russian Premier League match between Khimki and Akron (2:2), midfielder Lucas Vera opened up about keeping in touch with Franc Artiga and what he thinks the former Khimki coach plans next.
"Do I talk with Artiga? Of course, we do. His departure was the club’s decision. Things happen in football, but that’s in the past now. Now we need to focus on playing our football," Vera told Telecomasia.net.

The 48-year-old Artiga was head coach of Khimki since summer 2024. His resignation was announced in April 2025, and Magomed Adiyev took over.
