According to sports journalist Flavio Ognissanti on his social media page, a serious conflict has arisen among the players of Italian Serie A club Fiorentina.
Reportedly, the Fiorentina footballers fought during a training session. Furthermore, some players intend to leave the team during the 2026 winter transfer window and have approached their agents asking them to find new employment.
After 15 rounds of the 2025-2026 season, the Florence club, led by Paolo Vanoli, has collected only six points and sits in last place (20th) in the Serie A table. The "Viola" are the only team in the Italian championship yet to secure a single victory.
On December 15th, the Corriere dello Sport newspaper reported that Vanoli may soon leave his post due to Fiorentina's unsatisfactory performance in recent matches.
