
French goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier of Lille is preparing to move to Paris Saint-Germain, well-known journalist and insider Fabrizio Romano wrote on social media.
According to Romano, the transfer fee for the French goalkeeper will exceed €40 million.
Sources say the clubs have reached an agreement on the transfer. A five-year contract with Chevalier is expected to be signed, and the player’s medical is planned for this week.
Chevalier has played for Lille since July 2020. He has appeared in 127 matches, conceded 127 goals and kept 44 clean sheets. His contract with Les Dogues runs until the summer of 2027. Transfermarkt estimates him at €30 million.
