Inter Set Club Record for Ticket Revenue in Champions League Match Against Barcelona

On May 6, the UEFA Champions League semi-final match took place in Milan between Inter and Barcelona. The game ended with a victory for the Italian club, with a score of 4-3 after extra time. The aggregate score after two matches was 7-6 in favor of the Milan team.

With this win, Inter advanced to the UEFA Champions League final, where they will face the French team PSG.

Following the match, Corriere dello Sport reported that the Italian team earned 14.7 million euros from the game against Barcelona. The match was held at the San Siro (Giuseppe Meazza) stadium in Milan.

According to the source, the match was visited by 75,504 spectators, setting a record for attendance at all football matches held in Italy.

The previous record was held by the UEFA Champions League semi-final of the 2022/23 season between Inter and AC Milan (1-0) at the same stadium, where the home team earned 12.5 million euros.
