Inter Signs Defender Akanji on Loan From Manchester City With Option to Buy

Italian club Inter Milan has signed defender Manuel Akanji on loan from Premier League side Manchester City until the end of the season, the Serie A club announced.

The loan deal for the 30‑year‑old Swiss international includes a purchase option that can become mandatory if certain conditions are met.

Akanji joined Manchester City in 2022 from Borussia Dortmund. He has made 136 appearances for City, won the English league title twice, and has one Champions League and one FA Cup to his name.
