According to Telecomasia.net, Brazilian side Internacional have shown interest in Spartak Moscow defender Alexis Duarte. The clubs have been in contact about a possible transfer.
One proposed option reportedly involved swapping Duarte for Internacional defender Vitão with Spartak paying an additional fee. Spartak’s sporting department rejected that swap and instead moved to purchase Galatasaray defender Carlos Cuesta.
Earlier reports linked Duarte with another Brazilian club, Santos, with transfer negotiations said to be underway. Sochi have also been named as potential suitors.
Duarte joined Spartak from Paraguayan club Cerro Porteño in January 2023. He has made 66 appearances for the Moscow side. Transfermarkt estimates the 25-year-old Paraguayan at €3 million.
