The press service of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has officially announced the locations for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2028 Games on its website.
The opening ceremony will take place on July 14 at the LA Memorial Coliseum, along with a football stadium in Inglewood, which will host the event for the first time.
The Olympics will close on July 30 at the Memorial Coliseum. The Coliseum also hosted the opening ceremonies for the Olympic Games in 1932 and 1984.
The opening ceremony for the 2028 Paralympic Games is set for August 15 in Inglewood, with the closing ceremony taking place at the Memorial Coliseum.
