Israel vs. Norway U21 Match Moved to Hungary for Safety

The UEFA Under-21 Euro 2027 qualifying match between Norway’s and Israel’s youth national teams will be held in Hungary.

Earlier, the Norwegian Football Federation (NFF) announced the possibility of relocating the game due to safety concerns. Earlier FIFA President Gianni Infantino stated that FIFA does not have the authority to resolve global conflicts but strives to unite people through football.

The exclusion of Israeli teams and clubs from international competitions was not discussed at the October FIFA Council meeting. The final part of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship will be co-hosted by Albania and Serbia in 2027.
