Former Zenit player Daniel Miguel, also known as Danny, shared his opinion on the possible transfer of striker Cristiano Ronaldo to Sporting.
Earlier, Spanish media reported that the forward did not extend his contract with Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr and is contemplating returning to the camp of Sporting, being a product of its academy.

If he returns to Sporting, he will be very helpful for the club and for the Portuguese league. It will be great for Portugal if Ronaldo comes. It will be a boost and will give it popularity.
Ronaldo, 40, has been playing for Al-Nassr since January 2023. During that period, he has scored 93 goals in 105 matches in all competitions and made 19 assists.
