Jon Dahl Tomasson has left his position as head coach of the Sweden national team. This was announced on the official website by the press service of the Swedish Football Association (SvFF).
On Monday, Sweden lost at home to Kosovo in the 2026 World Cup qualifying match with a score of 0-1. After the match, Sweden is in fourth place in Group B with one point.
Tomasson had worked with the Sweden national team since February 2024. Under the Danish coach’s leadership, the team played 18 matches, winning nine, drawing two, and losing seven.
