
Ramon Alvarez de Mon, a journalist for La Galerna, reported that Real Madrid have signed a contract with Liverpool right back Trent Alexander-Arnold.
According to the source, the 26-year-old Englishman will join Real Madrid after the current season, receiving a signing bonus of around 18-20 million euros.
This season, Trent Alexander-Arnold has played 29 matches for Liverpool across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing six assists. His contract with the English club is valid until the end of June 2025.
It's worth noting that the 26-year-old player is a product of Liverpool's academy and has been part of the first team since 2016. His market value, as per Transfermarkt, is estimated to be 75 million euros.
Currently, Real Madrid lead the La Liga standings with 46 points after 20 matches.
Earlier, former England striker Gary Lineker commented on the potential transfer of Trent Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid.
The player himself recently stated that he would not disclose all the details regarding his future with the English club.
