According to the source, the Turin club is close to finalizing negotiations for sporting midfielder Morten Hjulmand from Sporting Lisbon; however, their priority may shift towards bringing Tonali back to Italy.
The 25-year-old midfielder had a noteworthy 2024/25 season with the English club, making 45 appearances across all competitions and recording six goals and three assists. His contract with Newcastle is valid until the summer of 2028, with Transfermarkt estimating his market value at 60 million euros.
In the 2024/25 season, Juventus finished 4th in Serie A, earning a spot in the UEFA Champions League. However, the club was eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Club World Cup by Real Madrid.
