
Kazakhstan has submitted a bid to host the UEFA Europa Conference League final in both 2028 and 2029, according to UEFA’s press service. Kazakh organizers plan to stage the decisive matches either in Almaty or Astana.
Kazakhstan’s competitors for hosting rights are France, Hungary, Italy, Poland, and Finland. Final bids for the tournament’s decisive match must be formally approved in June 2026. The host country will be selected during UEFA’s Executive Committee meeting in September 2026, according to the source.
Chelsea are the current holders of the Europa Conference League title. In the 2025-26 season final, the London club defeated Real Betis 4-1. The 2025-26 final will be held at Red Bull Arena in Leipzig.
