
Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich has played his 100th UEFA Champions League match. The German marked this milestone in the club’s 2-1 victory over Paris Saint-Germain on Matchday 4.
Kimmich became the 52nd player in tournament history to reach the 100-appearance mark. He is the fifth Bayern Munich player to achieve this feat, following Thomas Müller, Manuel Neuer, Philipp Lahm, and Oliver Kahn.
So far this season, the 30-year-old midfielder has appeared in 16 matches across all competitions for Bayern, scoring one goal and providing four assists. His contract with the club runs through the summer of 2029. Transfermarkt currently values him at €46.6 million.
After four matches, Bayern Munich sit atop the Champions League league-phase standings with 12 points. In Matchday 5, Vincent Kompany’s side will travel to face Arsenal in London on November 25, with kickoff scheduled for 23:00. GMT+3.
