A few weeks ago, former Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp informed the Real Madrid board of his doubts about taking over as head coach, according to Marca. Now, the German coach reportedly regrets declining the chance to lead the Spanish powerhouse.
It’s noted that Klopp can no longer become Real Madrid’s manager because the club has reached an agreement with Xabi Alonso, who currently coaches Bayer Leverkusen.
Real Madrid currently stand second in La Liga with 72 points.
