Former head coach of the English side Liverpool Jurgen Klopp denied rumors about the imminent appointment in the Italian side Roma. Earlier this was reported by one of the largest newspapers in Italy La Stampa.
I will not coach Roma. If you read any rumors that I will coach in the next few years, it is nonsense. You can be the first to say it.
Jurgen Klopp's last club as head coach was Liverpool, which he led from 2015 to 2024. On January 1, 2025, the German assumed the duties of global head of soccer at Red Bull.
At the moment Roma is headed by 73-year-old Claudio Ranieri, who will leave the position after the end of the current season.
Note that Roma are in fifth place in Serie A with 66 points with one matchday left before the end of the season.
Earlier agent Marc Kosicke, representing the interests of Jurgen Klopp, also urged the public not to believe the information about the specialist's agreement to lead Roma.
In other news, it became known that the former German coach of Liverpool regrets that he did not accept the offer to head Real Madrid.
