Former Real Madrid and Germany midfielder Toni Kroos shared his thoughts on what the current Real Madrid squad is missing to return to the top.
In the 2024/2025 season, the Madrid team won only the UEFA Super Cup and the Intercontinental Cup. In the 2025 Club World Cup, the team, coached by Xabi Alonso, was defeated in the semifinals by Paris Saint-Germain with a score of 0-4.

To return to the top, the most important thing in my opinion is focus, discipline, and how this new system works and is applied. From there, you can determine which player you need, based on the style of play you want to adopt.
Kroos played for Real Madrid from 2014 to 2024, winning 23 trophies with the club, including five Champions League titles and four La Liga championships.
