La Liga President Tebas Vows to Put an End to Club World Cup

Javier Tebas, president of Spain's La Liga, has expressed his strong disapproval of the ongoing Club World Cup taking place in the United States.

He pledged to do everything possible to prevent the tournament from being held again in the future:

Javier Tebas quoted by Diario AS
I will do everything in my power to make sure the Club World Cup will never take place again.

This year's competition features 32 teams competing in an expanded format and is set to conclude on July 13. Recently, Real Madrid advanced to the quarter-finals after defeating Juventus 1-0. In their next match, the Royal Club will face Borussia Dortmund.

The Club World Cup is currently underway. You can find the tournament's overview here.
